An opportunity has arisen for an L&D professional to join the small HR team to focus on employee learning and development. The successful candidate will also support some of the dealer training activities provided through the Volkswagen Academy. 
Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources in this newly created role, you will have ample opportunity to develop innovative training initiatives and processes, and to really make your mark. 

Your role will incorporate responsibility for:

  • Facilitating all aspects of the annual L&D lifecycle for employees
  • Establishing and maintaining core L&D processes
  • Undertaking Training Needs Analysis and building or sourcing appropriate solutions
  • Maintaining training records and monitoring trends including investment in development by departments
  • Developing the learning curriculum and evolving Volkswagen Group Australia’s competency framework
  • Assisting in delivery of Volkswagen Academy dealer training programmes when required
  • Undertaking a range of L&D projects and providing back up for key HR activities

A proactive, results-driven and professional L&D specialist, you will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and a proven track record regarding the design and delivery of training across all levels of an organisation.  You will be Tertiary qualified and possess a minimum of 3 years in an L&D or HR related role. Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment would be highly regarded.
