Human Resources Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a publishing company for an Human Resources Manager.
Following recent organisational changes, a new role has been created to focus on people strategy and management, reporting to and working with the Chief Executive.

Your role will be to create and implement an annual HR plan, whilst providing a professional and proactive HR service. You will also support directors and managers in all aspects of people management, coaching them as needed. This is a largely standalone role so will provide you with considerable freedom, and you will have support from an administrator.

You will ideally be CIPD qualified or equivalent, and need to have considerable demonstrable success in delivering all of the key functions of an HR department. The role requires the skill and confidence to take the lead in: delivering a comprehensive HR service; managing reward issues; advising and updating on employment law; promoting excellent communications and employee relations, in a trade-unionised environment
