HR Temporary Recruitment
We provide our clients with HR support on very short notice. Candidates on temporary contracts are paid on an hourly rate, weekly via our payroll.
There can be many reasons for this, for example short-term holiday or illness cover, or to keep a seat warm and the workload covered while waiting for a permanent appointment. Temporary arrangements are often subject to renewal.
The Agency Workers Regulations 2010 (the AWR or Regulations) came into force on 1st October 2011. The AWR gives agency workers (i.e. those temps supplied to you by us, via umbrella companies and through other temporary work agencies) the right to the same basic terms and conditions as employees directly employed by you to do the same job - once they have completed a 12 week qualifying period.
