The client

Cathay Pacific Limited is the flag carrier of Hong Kong, with its head office and main hub located at Hong Kong International Airport. The airline's operations and subsidiaries have scheduled passenger, charter and cargo services to over 200 destinations in more than 60 countries worldwide including codeshares and joint ventures.

Client’s need

A newly created position for a Global Head of Reward and Performance to establish a Centre Of Expertise to drive Reward and Performance strategy in line with the company’s business objectives. The challenge was identifying candidates with broad International work experience who had the capability and experience as well as cultural fit to drive through change and approach within such a complex organisation.


Frazer Jones in Hong Kong was hired on an exclusive basis to engage with talent within APAC and Internationally. Finding Global Reward talent wasn’t so much of an issue but talent that were instantly mobile and within budget was challenging.  Thankfully this is where our global network of offices provides added value in working collaboratively to find that elusive candidate wherever they may be based.
