I am a consultant in the financial services team in London, placing HR professionals from junior to management level into permanent roles within the sector. This covers HR generalists from HR administrator to junior HR business partner level, L&D specialists and recruitment specialists.
I started my career in recruitment in 2015 in a graduate management scheme with an industrial recruitment specialist based in the Midlands. Here I was looking after various managed services contracts and spent time with the commercial placements team allowing me to gain a broad exposure to management and recruitment in general. I have since transferred over to specialist HR recruitment with my primary focus being building talent pools at the junior to mid-end of the market.
Frazer Jones have an extensive client base in London which allows me to work with some fantastic businesses, from large global banks and businesses to boutique firms in the City. As we are a large team I am able to concentrate on small focus areas allowing me to understand the cultural differences between businesses to better match candidates to environments where they will be a good fit for more than just their technical skills. Furthermore, unique networking methods allow us to have access to a passive candidate market giving us a very in-depth reach into available talent.
I am an LTA qualified tennis coach and keen player, having previously coached at clubs throughout the central belt of Scotland and playing regular individual and club tournaments both at home and abroad. This has admittedly cooled in recent years since graduating from Stirling University, with recreational tennis being more of a focus. I enjoy playing golf, football and darts socially in my spare time and of course watch the professionals when they are on TV!
