Legal Talent Coordinator
About the Role
The Legal Talent Coordinator plays a key role within the Human Capital & Talent team. This position supports Legal Talent leadership in delivering strategic initiatives aligned with the London office and relevant committees or practice groups. Acting as a liaison between local and global management committees, you will ensure effective communication, information sharing, and maintain calendars to avoid scheduling conflicts.
This role is based in our London office and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement of 3 days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support for associate development initiatives, including reintegration post-leave, exit processes, and serving as a point of contact for associates, new hires, and partners regarding orientation and development.
- Organise and facilitate orientation and training for new hires and lateral associates; manage inter-office transfers and secondments; oversee joiner/leaver processes in collaboration with global business services.
- Plan and execute attorney-related events and meetings, including setting objectives, negotiating with vendors, managing budgets, processing expenses, and assigning work to unassigned associates.
- Assist with applying employment policies and coordinating approval processes with relevant committees and leadership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including committee members, office managing partners, and Human Capital & Talent teams, to support ongoing associate needs and Legal Talent initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact effectively at all organisational levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, demonstrate analytical thinking, and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in legal talent or professional services.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
