Representing a mission-driven, community-focused nonprofit organization, we are proud to be leading the search for a Talent Acquisition Manager. This newly created role will lead a small team and partner closely with HR leadership to shape and deliver a high-impact talent strategy.

4 days on site – WFH Fridays

$120-130k base salary

This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to influence culture, build processes, and drive performance. As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of recruiters and a dotted-line HR coordinator
  • Overseeing full-cycle recruitment for a select portfolio of roles
  • Developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Supporting workforce planning and forecasting hiring needs
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through diverse sourcing channels
  • Enhancing recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience
  • Collaborating on onboarding, retention, and other strategic HR initiatives
  • Managing employer branding and employee value proposition efforts
  • Ensuring compliance and timely execution of recruitment activities
  • Partnering with the Managing Director of HR to uphold and evolve best practices across the talent function

To be successful in this role our client is looking for a:

  • Talent acquisition or HR professional with 7+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional with experience in recruitment and generalist HR functions
  • Leader who can manage with both diplomacy and directness
  • Individual with knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HR analytics
  • Candidate familiar with labor laws and DEI initiatives
  • Professional experienced in workforce planning and position control (preferred)
