A leading multinational engineering and infrastructure solutions provider is seeking a seasoned Senior Human Resources Manager to drive strategic HR initiatives and operational excellence across its Hong Kong operations. This is a high-impact role for an HR professional with deep expertise in Rewards & Compensation, Payroll leadership, and Talent Acquisition, especially within industrial or technical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to back office leadership, advising on performance management, rewards, mobility, and employee relations.
- Lead the payroll team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in payroll operations.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to drive recruitment strategies, onboarding, and employer branding initiatives.
- Roll out global HR programs locally, ensuring alignment with business needs and cultural context.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and provide expert guidance on HR policies and employee matters.
- Champion internal communications and engagement programs for frontline teams.
- Drive HR process enhancements, including systems and analytics.
- Prepare HR reports and support planning and execution of HR projects and events.
- Handle ad-hoc HR assignments as needed.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of HR generalist or business partnering experience in a sizeable organization.
- Strong background in Rewards, C&B, and payroll operations.
- Proven success in talent acquisition and recruitment strategy.
- Experience working with frontline teams and managing employee relations.
- Sector experience in industrial, engineering, construction, automation, or electronic systems is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into HR solutions.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese; additional languages are a plus.
- Agile, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for HR Manager or Assistant HR Manager.
