They are currently looking for an experienced People &amp; Operations Manager on a 12 month FTC to play a key role in supporting their people, culture, compliance, and day-to-day business operations. This is a pivotal position that will ensure the organisation continues to provide an outstanding employee experience while maintaining operational excellence across the business.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As People &amp; Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the company&#8217;s people function while overseeing key operational, compliance, and office management activities. Working closely with senior leadership, you will act as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters, ensuring employees are supported throughout their lifecycle while helping to maintain a positive, productive, and compliant working environment. This is a broad and varied role that combines HR leadership, operational management, governance, and business support.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters and HR escalations.<\/li>\n<li>Support managers with performance, wellbeing, engagement, and development initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate payroll administration and ensure all people-related records are accurate and up to date.<\/li>\n<li>Manage HR systems and maintain compliance with employment legislation and internal processes.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee company policies relating to HR, Health &amp; Safety, Anti-Bribery, Modern Slavery, and other governance requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Support legal and compliance matters, including employment-related queries and external advisory relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate ISO compliance activities, audits, documentation, and ongoing process improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Manage office operations, facilities, suppliers, and workplace logistics, acting as the main point of contact.<\/li>\n<li>Produce regular people and operational reports for senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor key people metrics including absence, annual leave, employee turnover, and engagement.<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR, operations, and internal processes.<\/li>\n<li>Act as a trusted link between employees and the leadership team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re looking for a proactive and commercially minded HR professional who enjoys balancing people-focused initiatives with hands-on operational responsibilities. Comfortable working independently, you bring a practical approach to problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders.
