Working closely with leaders across the business, you&#8217;ll identify current and future skills requirements, assess capability gaps and design development strategies that enhance performance, drive engagement and support broader business objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">This is not a traditional training role. I&#8217;m looking for a commercially minded Talent Development or Learning &amp; Development professional whose expertise lies in needs analysis, capability mapping and development design rather than training delivery. You&#8217;ll be comfortable challenging and influencing stakeholders, using data and insight to shape development plans, and creating solutions that align with long-term organisational goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of partnering with client groups to identify development needs, build targeted capability frameworks and implement practical development roadmaps. You&#8217;ll also lead and develop a direct report, ensuring a high-performing and customer-focused approach across the function.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">I&#8217;m looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality, can navigate a fast-paced environment and has the confidence and experience to hit the ground running from day one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\"> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and identify current and future capability requirements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Conduct robust learning, talent and capability needs analysis, identifying skills gaps and development opportunities across the business.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Design and implement development solutions, frameworks and programmes that support organisational capability and business performance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Develop capability roadmaps, career pathways and development plans aligned to business objectives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Use data, insight and feedback to assess capability trends and measure the effectiveness of development initiatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, providing expert advice and constructive challenge where appropriate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Lead, coach and develop a direct report, fostering a high-performing and customer-focused culture.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring the successful delivery of people development initiatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Support wider talent, succession planning and organisational development activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\"> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Proven experience within a Talent Development, Learning &amp; Development, Organisational Development or Capability-focused role.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Strong expertise in needs analysis, capability assessment, workforce planning and skills gap identification.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Demonstrable experience designing and implementing development frameworks, talent initiatives and capability programmes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">A strong track record of partnering with business leaders to understand challenges and develop targeted people solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Commercially minded, with the ability to align people development activity to business strategy and measurable outcomes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Previous line management experience with the ability to lead, coach and develop others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Confident influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to quickly establish credibility and make an immediate impact.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">Experience within a professional services environment would be highly advantageous.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\"> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\"> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10pt\">This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established professional services organisation in a role where you&#8217;ll have genuine influence over talent and capability strategy.
