At Frazer Jones, we try to empower every colleague to bring their true self to work, every day.
And we want clients and candidates to experience that inclusiveness too.
By educating ourselves and appreciating how different life experiences shape us, we’re in a stronger position to understand the professionals we work with beyond their profiles.
As a recruitment company, we’re aware of the vital role we can play in creating a more diverse, inclusive and progressive future for workplaces of every shape and size.
We’re also very conscious of the increasingly critical role that environmental, social, and governance (ESG) can play in not only making businesses better, but the world in which we all live in outside of work.
As part of our efforts, James Casey spoke to five experts to get their opinion on different aspects of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and ESG.
In this, our fourth episode of the series, we speak to Ana Billian, DE&I Lead at EY.
About Snjezana Ana Billian
Snjezana Ana Billian is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness Lead at EY Germany and an advocate for underrepresented talent in the workplace. Being a parent and having lived and worked in different countries, she had the chance to personally experience the challenges that come with working in your non-native language, having a name people can’t pronounce, and juggling work and family life.
Having designed and led numerous talent and recruiting programs, she made it her mission to make the hiring process inclusive and open to candidates with non-linear career paths. That’s why she founded Workmazing, using her signature framework to help career changers reinvent themselves professionally and position themselves as top choice candidates at their favourite organisations.
She has a degree in Economics and holds multiple certifications in the field of personal and leadership development. Her career and leadership advice has featured in Business Insider, Thrive Global, Brainz Magazine, podcasts, and radio shows. Her Workmazing vlog features conversations with the world’s leading experts in career and leadership.
If you’d like to talk more about DEI and ESG initiatives, please get in touch with a Frazer Jones consultant today. We would love to hear from you.
