The role…
As Employee Relations Lead you will focus on all industrial relations cases and work closely with the Director of Growth and Development to ensure that the members get the continued level of support required to safely run their business and support their employees.
- Within this position you will support all members of the organisation to navigate the disciplinary, grievance and performance issues including industrial disputes. This may include strike actions and further capability procedures.
- You will clearly provide the paperwork and case information preparation for the Working Parties and support projects.
- You will be the lead on the dispute resolution processes which will include mediation and consultation and drafting decisions.
- Work with the employee and industrial relations committees to support on wage negotiations between the unions and supporting organisations.
- Stay up to date and ensure that new legislation is presented to the wider organisation and implemented.
To be successful in this role you must have experience working across industrial and employee relations, working with unions on a regular basis and as a main part of your role. You will have experience working across mediation and effective dispute resolution processes. Ideally you would have worked across the electrical, construction, engineering or building environment however open to sectors where unions are present. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with integrity and empathy is critical. You will also be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
Location: London or Swanley (Kent) Hybrid working
