We are delighted to work with a Law Firm to recruit an Employee Relations (ER) specialist on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract specifically to support their NHS clients. This is a remote based role with some travel requied, when possible, to clients near Leeds.

The role

You will build good relationships with your clients and manage an employee relations (ER) caseload. You will be involved in a broad range of activities which includes investigations into disciplinary, grievance or associated matters, senior representation and presence on disciplinary or appeals panels, sickness absence management projects, restructuring and guidance on change relating to TUPE.

You will have work closely with your client(s) to develop employee relations policies and procedures, you will work with them to develop and deliver employee relations training to the business . Finally you will develop creative and commercially focused solutions which will address client concerns such as absence or performance management.

What you need to succeed

In order to be successful in your application you will need to demonstrate strong employee relations experience - you may be operating as an ER Specialist or as an HR Generalist with strengths in managing complex employee relations casework and developing appropriate solutions to organisational ER challenges. You will have excellent, up to date Employment Legislation knowledge and the ability to apply it practically. Experience in an Employee Relations (ER) focussed role, gained within the NHS is highly desirable.

You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders. You are comfortable working to SLA's and tight timescales and like to work in fast paced demanding environments. This is a remote based role with some office based work on client sites when needed.
