Assistant Employee Relations Manager. Crawley Office base (once / twice weekly), £45,000 + excellent benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employee Relations Assistant Manager to join a well-known and reputable company based at their offices in Crawley. This global organisation are experts within their industry sector and they take pride in providing an innovative and entrepreneurial service.

Due to their fast growing ER function, this organisation are looking for a high visionary Assistant ER Manager to join their passionate and dynamic team. You will report into the Employee Relations Manager and will be accountable for providing successful solutions to the employee relations issues based on employment law, expertise and business knowledge. The HR team are responsible for circa 6,500 people and the ER team play an integral role in supporting and delivering ER Advice across the business.

You will be responsible for proving commercial support and advice at all levels on sensitive ER matters (disciplinary, grievance, settlement agreements, policy support), facilitate formal ER investigations enduring a fair and thorough investigation process, analyse and assess the risks associated with individual cases, making recommendations to drive remedial action and maintaining a detailed understanding of current and imminent legislation to ensure compliance and best practice.

In addition you will also support the development of ER Advisor, support the organisational change activity (redundancy and TUPE programmes) and develop and update people policies inline with legislative requirements, business objectives and culture and value.

If you have experience working in an employee relations and policy focussed role, including extensive knowledge of employment law and proficient in application of business aligned solutions this will be of great interest to my client. You will also need to be a proven experience as a credible and assertive subject matter expert and interacting and influencing Senior Stakeholders. CIPD qualification will also be required for this role.
