I am delighted to be supporting a highly reputable professional body to recruit a Chief of Staff for a 6 months contract. Being a pivotal role within the organisation this is an essential hire for the organisation and its continued successes.
As Chief of staff you will provide a high level of strategic support to the CEO and senior Office holders to ensure delivery of the organisations corporate strategy and vision. You will manage key relationships with the senior leadership team, council and CEO to align the President and Chairs plans for the organisation.
Managing three key areas of the organisation which include The Executive Office, The Governance Team and the Internal Communications team you will provide strong and effective leadership ensuring that all of these areas are driving the organisation forward successfully and in line with the CEO business strategy. An expert in problem solving you will manage a diverse group of stakeholders to always ensure the culture and people of the organisation are a priority and essentially drive excellent performance.
You will ensure that the organisation responds appropriately to and effectively to new developments, sudden crises and ensure that the CEO receives suitable advice in a co-ordinated and timely manner. Part of the remit of this role will be to Chair the Operational Leadership Team and work closely with General Counsel to ensure that corporate governance and legal lessons learnt are integrated into organisational processes.
To be successful in this role you will be an experience Chief of Staff or similar role in operational Director level across a matrix organisation. You will be a senior leader who thrives in an environment of change & ambiguity and be a visible senior colleague who is able to build effective cross-business relationships and performance. This role plays a key part in the corporate strategy and ability to deliver this across the organisation, a critical friend to the CEO and a strong relationship builder for the SLT, Council and wider leadership team.
Contract: 6 months FTC
