Essential Functions and Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and administer the global annual compensation review process, including the processing, recording and reporting of all compensation-related data
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures; recommend plan and process revisions as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and firm objectives
  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners, Management Company, Finance and Tax teams on a variety of projects, including compensation program design, analysis, budgeting and implementation of new compensation programs
  • Prepare, analyze and report on various compensation components and headcount information throughout the year
  • Responsible for tracking and recording of all compensation transactions throughout the year and keeping all stakeholders informed in a timely manner
  • Lead benchmarking survey process; prepare and present analyses and recommendations
  • Develop and document procedures to streamline compensation processes and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
  • Through audits and reporting, ensure that the firm compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with firm policies and government regulations
  • Work with HR Operations team is updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs, etc. as it relates to payroll, benefits and HRIS maintenance
  • Coordinate with HRIS Operations Associate to ensure the system meets compensation process, recording and reporting needs
  • Assist HR Business Partners, Managers and group-heads with compensation-related issues
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from firmwide senior management and other functional areas across the firm
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure firm compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (analytical field such as Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics or a related field in HR preferred)
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and writing skills and ability to develop relationships with professionals
  • Ability to work with Excel on a day to day basis, must have experience utilizing Macros, Vlookups, and Pivot Tables
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing time-sensitive projects without compromising the quality of work
  • Thinks multiple steps ahead; prepares for potential problems and escalates issues when appropriate
