We have partnered with a leading London law firm to find a Compensation and Benefits Officer to cover a period of maternity leave. Successful candidates will have experience of overseeing the benefits renewal and salary review process. This role can be worked full time or four days per week, and one day a week could also be worked from home.
Reporting to the Compensation and Benefits Manager, you will manage a Compensation and Benefits Assistant. The firm are changing benefits providers and you will help with branding, design and communications, including UAT. You will administer the flexible benefits programme including the annual benefits renewal, ensuring data is kept up to date on HRIS and Payroll systems and running reports. You'll keep benefits policies up to date and run the benefits intranet pages. You'll prepare spreadsheets for annual salary and bonus reviews, undertake job evaluation and benchmarking and provide data for salary surveys. You'll also support the payroll audit and respond to payroll queries.
Many of the processes around data are still being automated, so you will need to be very hands-on with data. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP are essential, and you will also need to be comfortable with mail merge and complex formualas. Experience of implementing a new benefits platform is highly desirable. You must have excellent understanding of HR and Payroll Systems and be familiar with Willis Towers Watson job evaluation and benchmarking methodologies. You will need to hit the ground running, so must have experience of benefits renewals and the salary review process.
