Country HR Manager

I am delighted to be supporting this leading multinational on their search for a Country HR Manager for their Saudi Arabia and Bahrain business entities which employ circa 1500 employees. This role will be based in Riyadh and report into a global head of HR based in the US.

The business is in growth mode and as such we are looking to recruit a Country HR Manager that is pro-active and forward thinking. You will manage a small team and sit on the senior leadership team acting as trusted advisor on the human capital agenda.

The Role:

Some of the essential duties of the role include the following, development of the MENA HR strategy, budgets and people plans for the Geozone- sharing expertise and learning and ensuring an integrated approach to delivering high impact HR advice and quality service delivery across the Geozone. Responsible for leading a team of HR professionals and actively engaging them to support their development (performance, talent identification, succession planning, development).

The Criteria:

Preferably candidates with 15 years progressive general HR experience, including a demonstrated career track record across multiple HR business partnership roles. Experience or demonstrated capability leading other professionals and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Preferred is depth in MENA HR practices, processes and laws/regulations. The successful candidate will hold strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills that can impact at all levels and able to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
