Our client, a small proprietary investment tech and trading firm based in Lower Manhattan is seeking a skilled HR leader who has managed small teams and is passionate about people development, coaching and partnering with leadership, who possesses strong employee relations skills and has a knack for continuously uncovering opportunities to further professionalize a vibrant HR function. The firm is slated to grow to about 100 people, and with a team of 2-3 recruiter generalists reporting in and a PEO handling payroll and benefits, this Head of HR will be free to focus on the people agenda as an instrumental member of their leadership team. Reporting into the C-suite, this hire will work shoulder to shoulder with them in refining and continuously improving their HR platform. The position will require at least 3 days a week in office but offers great quality of life and is very respectful of work/life balance, particularly outside of core business hours. The ideal hire will offer 10 years of progressively responsible experience that must come out of financial services, fintech, or tech environments, with the desire to be hands on and strategic. Existing people management of junior teams is important.
