We’re working with a social services agency specializing in services for children with 250 employees nationally and growing. The business is a non-profit, but has several business units which operate as for-profit entities. They are seeking to hire a Director of Recruiting based out of their Midtown Manhattan location on a hybrid basis (3 days per week onsite).

This is a newly created role, essentially carving recruitment out of the HR business partner function and embedding the capabilities. This is an individual contributor role with a focus on building out the recruitment processes and infrastructure to support fast-paced, hi-volume hiring for all areas of the business, with the majority of roles being clinical in nature. Hands-on full-cycle recruitment will be a very limited element of the role. The crux of the position is focused on managing relationships with vendors and fostering an efficient workflow. Hiring managers are responsible for scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks, and there are resources to handle the generation of offer letters. Our client is seeking a Director of Recruiting who can implement an ATS, evaluating if ADP is the correct solution or recommending and implementing another product, automating everything the workflow from job posting to onboarding. There is a need for the development of and rolling out recruitment/interviewer training.

The ideal candidate will be a builder in nature with 5+ years of progressive experience in recruitment. Industry experience is not required, but would be helpful. Our client is seeking someone with strong influencing skills and a pleasant demeanor. A commercial mindset and a customer service orientation is vital for success in this role.
