Diversity & Inclusion Manager
I am delighted to be partnering with this leading independent Australian professional services firm who are seeking a Diversity & Inclusion Manager to join their growing Melbourne team.
As in integral part of the national People and Development team, you will have responsibility for driving the D&I Agenda firm wide.
Partnering with leadership team, managing partners and key stakeholders across the business you will have the opportunity to influence and drive an inclusive, innovative D&I agenda.
The role
The D&I Manager will be responsible for the execution, and continued development, of the firm’s strategic plan for diversity & inclusion. This will involve assessing the status of activities on each key D&I pillar, setting of further objectives and identifying key outcomes. In addition to the D&I responsibilities (60-70%% of available time), this role will assist with some of the firm wide generalist HR projects.
Each D&I pillar has its own objectives which have been set and agreed by key stakeholders. It is expected that each pillar will require:
- A review of the status, existing policies and procedures and the preparation of recommendations for any changes that are required.
- Further work on the existing action plans and the setting of further deliverables as needed.
- Management of relationships with relevant external organisations for partnership/ affiliation with.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced HR Generalist with in-depth experience of introducing and managing organisation wide D&I initiatives of delivering on a D&I agenda. You will have a have a high level of influence and enjoy working autonomously as part of broader team.
Law firm/professional services experience is essential. Applications without this experience cannot be considered in this instance.
