EMEA Benefits Specialist
I am representing a global financial services firm in the search for an experienced EMEA Benefits Specialist to join their London-based team. This is a high-impact role within a fast-moving, internationally complex environment, offering meaningful ownership of benefits and wellbeing programmes across multiple geographies.
The position has a strong EMEA focus, covering jurisdictions including the UK, Switzerland, Ireland, UAE, France and Italy, with the opportunity to contribute to broader global initiatives. It will suit someone who combines strong operational delivery with a strategic mindset and is comfortable working in a regulated financial services setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end ownership of core employee benefits programmes across EMEA, including healthcare, pension and risk insurance
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Benchmarking benefits offerings to maintain competitiveness within the financial services market
- Managing relationships with global and local brokers, insurers and external vendors
- Driving and enhancing wellbeing initiatives focused on mental, physical and financial health
- Partnering closely with HR Operations and Payroll to ensure accurate and efficient delivery
- Supporting global or cross-regional benefits projects as required
The successful candidate will bring:
- In-house benefits experience within a corporate environment
- Exposure to complex, international benefits structures, ideally within financial services or a similarly regulated sector
- Strong working knowledge of EMEA benefits compliance and governance
- The ability to operate confidently in both hands-on and strategic capacities
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and managing external providers
- Strong Excel capability and familiarity with HR systems; Workday experience is highly desirable
- A genuine interest in employee wellbeing beyond core benefits administration
This role offers strong visibility, international scope, and the opportunity to shape benefits and wellbeing programmes at scale. The salary range is £70,000-£100,000, depending on experience, alongside a competitive benefits package including private medical cover.
