I am supporting a high growth fintech business to appoint a Global Head of HR based in London. The organisation has reached the 20 year mark and having been recently acquired via PE is reaching a critical stage of their evolution. The business has a global headcount of 700 and operates in over 20 countries.
With the current CHRO based in the US stepping up to a COO role, this person will head up the function with a particular focus on leading Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition. The organisation operates a global dispersed leadership team with both the CEO and CFO based in London and the headcount an even split between the US, APAC and Europe.
This role will be critical in driving Talent, with an additional 180 hires forecasted for this year. Both acquisition and retention will be key metrics as well as helping to evolve and develop a strategic HR function, being able to deal with local problems whilst sticking to a clear global people agenda. You will work hand to glove with the COO and form a cohesive and highly collaborative HR leadership team in a low politics, high touch environment.
You will have worked within high growth enterprise software and be able to demonstrate large corporate HR rigour whilst being able to implement this in a smaller agile environment. HR is truly embedded within the business, as such you will be able to drive commercial relationships including at a leadership level. A large focus of the role will be driving Talent so additional expertise in both acquisition and development would be of interest. Equally, prior experience of working for a US HQ business would be beneficial.
