Our client is a global insurance company with a strong international presence that reaches more than 20,000 employees worldwide. The firm provides insurance and asset management with a significant focus on Asia and EMEA markets, supporting more than 20 million customers. With exponential growth in particular with their Asia market, they are now looking to appoint a brand-new HR Engagement & Comms Manager to join their Hong Kong office in a busy, varied and highly visible role.

Your will be responsible for driving group wide HR culture and engagement initiatives across key international markets such as Hong Kong, Singapore and China which includes people culture, communications, well-being and DEI initiatives. Partnering with key global functional leaders and stakeholders, you’ll support and manage internal employee communications and staff engagement initiatives to drive purposeful agendas surrounding people strategy and communications at a group level. You will also develop, lead and execute people agenda operations and processes in relation to well-being activities and other staff-related engagement matters to create a successful framework surrounding a diverse and inclusive workforce culture. Partnering and communicating daily with key stakeholders, you will play an important role in implementing a group-wide collaborative HR agenda across the firm as well as drive people strategy with an engagement and wellbeing lens focusing on people experience.

The suitable individual should bring at least 8+ years of relevant HR experience in relation to culture change, people strategy and engagement projects across multiple international markets and strong exposure managing and communicating with key stakeholders within the business. You should bring experience driving and initiating strategic HR communications and bring awareness to well-being and DEI initiatives with a consultative approach. You should also bring suitable industry experience preferably within sizeable international firms within the insurance, financial or professional services sector.
