Our client is a highly profitable business in the energy sector, commanding an unrivalled presence across Asia Pacific. They have just undergone a HR transformation and they are looking to further improve their businesses across the region through up-scaling their operations and capabilities across Asia. Hence, they have recently created a new position of a Global Mobility Manager to join their team and assist them in their journey to greater success.
Reporting into the Head of HR for APAC, you will be responsible to provide strategic leadership and consulting on global mobility matters with the HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition team, and the business. You will work on developing a global mobility framework for the organization, to create efficiencies and recommend appropriate strategies that will ensure synergy between relocation and immigration programs. You will be the subject matter expert in advising on mobility issues and to ensure adherence to compliance, service level standards and communication protocol. You will also coach and train the business and HR on the developed policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and streamlined global mobility process.
The Successful Applicant
You should possess a minimum of 10 years working in global mobility, managing both in and out-bound assignments with strong understanding of immigration policies and regulations, equipped with a degree in HR or its equivalence. They would be looking for someone who is able to work independently and in a fast paced environment, possessing the know-how to navigate amongst senior stakeholders and influence accordingly. The successful candidate would have strong technical skills and strong questioning/ listening skills.
