We are working with an expanding professional services organisation in Birmingham to recruit a Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager to play an integral part in attracting and recruiting high-calibre trainees and assisting with the management of the two-year training and development programme.
This is a comprehensive role from attraction, recruitment and through the training programme. You will play an integral part of assessment centres; candidate interviewing process; generation of offers; and feedback. You will Project management the national summer vacation schemes, autumn training contract assessment centres, winter open days, and law fairs and career presentations programme (this may involve weekly travel during busy term-time periods).
You will oversee the successful production and implementation of our on-boarding process for each new trainee intake by the Graduate Recruitment & Development Officer. You will manage the trainee rotation process nationally and internationally, interacting closely with all departments and trainees. You will maintain all training records and also manage an officer within the team.
In order to be successful in your application you will need to demonstrate credibility, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and self motivation. You will also need to demonstrate strong experience of working in a client-facing, professional services environment, an effective knowledge of the graduate market place / higher education landscape and previous solid graduate recruitment and trainee development experience.
