Our client is a highly successful investment holding company with a diversified portfolio stretching across Asia. As a forward looking company HR holds a seat as part of the executive team and reports directly into the CEO meaning this is a highly influential and strategic role. With continued business growth and a focus on their people there is a real opportunity for this Head of HR to be creative around culture, engagement and planned investment in HR Tech.


  • Lead and drive the collective HR Agenda for the Group
  • Partner with the group leadership to align the business and HR strategy with emphasis on identifying and developing the key talent management levers which will enable the Company's business success
  • Has the ability to drive change and organizational effectiveness by partnering with group leadership in organization design, workforce planning and location strategy, leadership coaching, change management, key talent retention and team development, as needed
  • Responsible for managing enterprise-wide HR programs, e.g., compensation & benefits review, workforce planning and location strategy, succession planning, and talent management
  • Maintain key matrix relationships with business and builds HRBP team to support the human resource needs across the Group
  • Responsible for managing and developing the HR team in direct reporting line and those dotted-line as One HR team


  • Tertiary education in HRM and/or OD fields is required with 10+ years professional experience in talent acquisition and management, organizational development, learning and development and HR business partnership
  • Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, real estate or retail across Asia would be highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the HR function in diverse organizations with multiple reporting relationships
  • Ability to partner effectively and influence leadership at all levels in highly global matrixed environment and impact desired outcomes with the business
  • Must be able to work collaboratively across teams, prioritize and scale up projects accordingly
  • Ability to lead and build strong remote/virtual teams, together with other HR functional areas
  • Possess strategic thinking with strong business acumen and HR functional knowledge
  • Proven ownership and accountability for business success and demonstrates intellectual curiosity to learn the business, coupled with a sense of urgency
  • Strong facilitation capability and executive presentation skills
  • Strong consultative skills and ability to resolve conflict effectively
  • Bi-Lingual in English and Mandarin with excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential due to continued expansion in China

Salary - $160,000 - $200,000 + Bonus
