We have a very exciting opportunity for a Group HR Manager in Central London.

We are partnering exclusively with a high-growth renewable energy infrastructure business to hire their very first Group HR Manager. Backed by mature private equity, the business has acquired multiple highly specialized renewable energy businesses across many global locations – and M&A will be a continuing theme as the business looks to position itself as the market leader in their field.

The business is well funded and has assembled a Leadership team and Board of renowned leaders in this field. This includes a CPO who has led global plc HR functions. The new Group HR Manager will be a standalone role and support in building their central HR function and processes from scratch. The business currently employ 700 staff across 16 international locations. Their workforce is made up of commercial, scientific/research and engineers.

Reporting into the CPO, you will be based in London and support in developing HR operations and processes from the centre of the business. Several of their acquisitions have local HR functions, but there is a clear need for integration and forming global standardisation. Leading on the deployment of a new HRIS whilst building quality data and processes to ensure the businesses can act quickly and efficiently is key. You will be supporting the SMT on a broad range of HR needs and will be a solutions-focused HR professional.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing business and HR function with opportunity for significant career growth. Ideally, you will come with a broad generalist HR skillset in an international setting. Working with engineering and/or infrastructure workforces would also be an advantage. You will have a clear eye for detail and be able to identify and build solutions for this growing business. As there is not a large / mature HR function yet, so you will be able to pick up multiple tasks and enjoy great variety in the role. The role also offers hybrid working with 3 days needed in the central London office.
