Head of HR APAC

We are partnering with a global consultancy to appoint their newly created Head of HR for APAC. Based in Sydney this role will support multiple offices across APAC and have a strong focus on business growth, either organic or via acquisition. Responsible for executing the people strategy in line with the business strategy, this role will work closely with the International Head of HR and APAC leadership team to deliver on the key people priorities.

A full generalist role the position will include growth, acquisition and integration, communications, talent acquisition, retention and management, remuneration, employee engagement, learning & development. The position offers and requires breadth, ranging from working with and advising the leadership team to implementing and improving the core HR processes and practice. Based in Sydney with one direct report to start, the role will be mostly office based, at least initially, with occasional travel required to the APAC offices.

With demonstrated strategic capability, it is essential you are also happy to be hands-on. Experience in management consulting, technology, media/communications and a high growth or start up environment will see you succeed in this role. A strong commercial mindset and pragmatic approach to HR is essential.
