With operations globally and an ever-expanding footprint, they are investing heavily in the APAC region and a key need has arisen to appoint a Senior Vice President of Human Resources to provide strategic HR leadership to the business, align the people strategy across APAC and drive the implementation of people processes to enable business performance in the region. A highly visible leadership position with accountability for all people aspects in APAC and a sizable reporting line. The client is a highly innovative and disruptive firm making waves in the market. About The Role
Reporting through to the senior leadership teams and Global CHRO, you will be working with the APAC board and leadership team in driving and spearheading HR changes to the organisation. You will ensure that the business has the people and organisational capabilities to support the business growth objectives through the provision of strategic customer focused HR solutions. There will be a heavy emphasis on talent, global organisational development, mergers & acquisitions, engagement and culture. This is a strategic position within the organization where creating and driving HR strategies will be critical.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a proven leader with executive presence and astute commercial mind and the ability to effectively partner with HR, Business Leaders and Vendors. APAC experience is critical. Working experience in a highly matrixed international work environment will be a real asset for the role. You will possess extensive managerial experience and the ability to communicate complex principles effectively at all levels within the organisation. This role would suit an individual who thrives in a fast paced, results driven environment and who works well in time critical situations. Prior or current working experience in Singapore is a must.
Critical: APAC Regional coverage, team management, strong stakeholder relationship management, long-term commitment to APAC.
Desirable: Strong change skillset, experience of China
