A global financial services organisation is looking for a strategic and operational Head of HR (Hong Kong) to join the small and collaborative HR team. Reporting in to the COO of Hong Kong with a dotted line in to the Group Head of HR based in the region, you will be responsible for managing all Hong Kong related HR matters supported by a lean country HR team.
You will work closely with Functional Business Heads, Country and Regional MD's and your respective HR peers across the region to align global HR strategy with Hong Kong's HR strategy and processes working with markets such as Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Japan. You will manage all Hong Kong HR Projects, Processes and Operations including; Policy & Employee Relations, Performance Management, Talent and Learning, Talent Acquisition, Reward (Compensation and Benefits), Governance, Communications and oversee Payroll which is outsourced. Ultimately, your team will manage HR matters end-to-end.
You will be an accomplished Head of HR operating in another regulated Financial Services organisation based in Hong Kong. You will be comfortable working directly with the country leadership team and operating in a global group structure. The ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese or Japanese would be desirable. You must also be comfortable managing small teams operating in a strategic and operational hands on role.
