My client is seeking a Head of HR Shared Services on a 12 month FTC and based in Birmingham. The role is responsible for leading and managing a large HR Operations team that operates and supports a Global headcount.
Reporting to the HR Director, this is a key position that sits on the HR leadership team and is responsible for ensuring HR service excellence across International regions. Leading a team of up to 50, the HR Operations team has a broad scope across all generalist HR queries and administration, reward and benefits, payroll and HR analytics. While you will focus on continuing to improve service excellence to internal teams, there is a change and transformation agenda that will require the function to be stabilised and to centralise HR Operations internationally from multiple locations to a single hub.
The ideal candidate will have experience of Heading up an HR Shared Services/HR Operations team on an International basis, with an understanding of reward, benefits and payroll. Experience of SAP would also be an advantage. You will be able to clearly evidence strong direct management and senior stakeholder management, and demonstrate experience of delivering large change and transformation programmes. Experience gained within Financial or Professional Services is desirable but alternative sectors will be considered. You must be immediately available and able to access Birmingham.
