The Senior HR Manager (SHRM) will lead the HR operations team, ensuring high-quality HR services across all global locations. This key role involves supporting the Head of HR in setting and implementing team priorities, developing HR strategies, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations and organisational culture. In addition, you will manage complex HR projects, handle sensitive employee relations issues, and enhance employee engagement and performance.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Provide strategic HR support to senior management.
  • Analyse HR trends to create solutions, programs, and policies.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Manage complex employee relations cases across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR issues and conflict resolution.
  • Lead staff engagement initiatives and manage engagement tools.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration.
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive compensation.
  • Manage annual salary review and bonus processes.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies to mitigate risks.
  • Resolve issues and disputes in line with company policy.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Develop HR metrics and reports to guide decision-making.
  • Provide regular HR performance reports to senior management.

HR Operations Team:

  • Promote the company brand and values.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Line manage the HR Officer and oversee HR operations staff.
  • Assist with HR projects.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 7-10 years of HR experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Ideally you will have experience of a LLP or partnership model.
  • Experience as an HR Generalist in a professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven people and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Experience in an international environment or proficiency in a second language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software.
