I am delighted to be working with an iconic organisation within then field of science to recruit an interim Head of People for a 6 month fixed term contract.

A crucial role within the People team and reporting directly to the People Director you will support a team of 20 across business partnering, change projects, HR Analytics, payroll and People shared services. Following a exciting new structure and about to embark on future plans the team are prepared for extra growth and need an experienced senior HR professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong background HR generalist capability.

Within this role you will be responsible for leading your individual team whilst working closely with the Head of Talent and Culture. Running all key areas of HR, you will act as a critical friend to the People Director and business partner with the senior leadership teams across the UK sites in which the organisation operates. You will drive your team and employees to continue to perform and maintain the already high-quality HR service they deliver. With a new and exciting people strategy in place that will drive a less process driven culture and a new restructure to reflect this the main responsibility of your role will be to ensure this is embedded effectively and efficiently.

This role will suit an ambitious and driven HR professional who will have worked at a senior level within a businesses with a dispersed workforce between 1000 - 2000 headcount. You be a strong HR generalist with extensive experience in UK employment law, business partnering, employee relations and change management. You will have a good methodical mindset and will have worked with HR Analytics teams in your role. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to look at business process reviews on the transactional areas of HR and assure excellent HR services to your stakeholders. The organisation is ambitious and fast paced with a team that will need development so you will be compassionate and a excellent leader prepared to bring your team on a journey with you! You must be CIPD qualified or with equivalent degree to apply.

You must be available to start by the end of June start of July.

Location: West London (WFH will apply in current situation)

Salary: £70,000
