We're working on an exciting Head of People search with a creative industry client based in Brooklyn. Our client is global, with headquarters outside the U.S., although nearly half of the population is based in their beautiful Brooklyn offices. There are nearly 600 employees at the company globally and just under 300 in their Brooklyn location. The business has reached a critical point in its maturation and growth where there is a clear need for better HR processes and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be able leverage their 8+ years of experience in hi-growth environments to devise unconventional and creative solutions to build the talent and people structure without stifling the business or culture. In this role, you'll manage a team of 2 HR professionals locally, and collaborate with 3 HR counterparts in the corporate headquarters in Europe to ensure global alignment. This is a partnership environment. The focus of the role will be heavily around positive employee relations, people policies/practices, and talent development, with oversight for recruitment, as well as payroll, benefits and compensation, which will be managed through the team.
