An excellent Head of Rewards for China opportunity has arisen with one of our multinational clients headquartered in Shenzhen. Our client has a very sizeable business in China with an established HR division with a COE model and highly matrixed organisation structure. The role reports into the CHRO for China and to the Global COE at HQ. You'll lead the design for Corporate and Commercial Reward Strategy which will include the opportunity to design and implement robust C&B programmes and activities, such as salary structures, short-term/long-term incentive plans, share plans, and employee benefit plans. You will take a lead on the review and development of multiple rewards strategies and frameworks for different employee groups within a single organisational framework and will drive change in relation to Reward for Performance philosophy. You will partner and coach senior leadership and the HR community on reward strategy/complexities and changes and able to influence decision-making by providing detailed analysis/models, innovative recommendations and expert advice.
Our client requires deep knowledge and broad experience in total rewards with experience designing and implementing total rewards strategies within a large multinational organisation. Ideally within a highly matrixed and complex organisation with global reporting. You should display depth in functional knowledge of contemporary and best HR practices and processes in the area of total rewards management and have proven change management experience. You are likely to have 15+ years' experience in HR, and at least 6 years in Senior Reward roles where you have lead a COE and ideally have experience in Rewards consulting as well. Experience working within China is critical for this role along with fluency in Putonghua and English.
