I am working with a leading, highly reputable logistics organisation, in their search for an HR Advisor. This is a permanent role, paying between £30,000 and £35,000, based in Hemel Hempstead.
This is a generalist HR role, where you will be working closely alongside the HR Manager, for a headcount of 500 employees. This will allow you to get involved in recruitment, ER, and employee engagement.
With recruitment, this will be at a high volume and predominantly within warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity to develop your talent acquisition skills and really get to know the people who join the organisation.
With employee relations, this will mainly be managing sicknesses and absences. This will allow you to develop your ER skills but also understand ways of improving retention and presence in the workplace.
Employee engagement is a big initiative in this organisation, and the leadership team are very keen to have the HR function driving the policies. This will be a great opportunity to coach and advise line managers on best practice, and managing sensitive conversations.
This is a full-time position. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5:30. Benefits include 25 days holiday, private healthcare, life insurance, private pension, and an annual bonus scheme.
I am looking to speak with HR professionals who have experience in a fast-paced setting and enjoy having a hands-on approach to their work. You will ideally also have experience in a unionised environment.
