I have partnered with a professional service firm in their search for an HR Advisor. This is a permanent role, paying up to £40,000. Working in a collaborative and close-knit team, your role will very much have a generalist remit - allowing you to get involved in employee relations, recruitment, training, and engagement. On the employee relations side, you will mainly be responsible for managing sickness, probation and performance reviews as well as being responsible for managing these cases appropriately. This will allow you to develop your ER experience and build on managing your own caseload.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Providing effective HR advice and support; Managing the end-to-end recruitment process; Maintaining HR policies and procedures in line with changing employment legislation; Advising line managers on how to manage any performance issues of employees; Co-ordinating the appraisal process; Assisting with salary benchmarking and the annual salary review process.
As the ideal candidate, you will have experience working within a professional services firm in an HR capacity. Understanding of current UK employment legislation and exposure to employee relation cases are important.
The role comes with great benefits and lots of flexibility. The salary is £35,000 - £40,000 depending on level of experience that you bring to the team, in addition you will be entitled to private healthcare/dental insurance and performance related bonus.
