HR Advisor
We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Advisor to join a busy law firm in Berkshire who have a culture which truly values all of their people. Not only have they won several industry awards but they have also been recognised professionally as Investors in People.
Due to a maternity leave, you will be working with the Head of People and an another HR Advisor. The primary purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day aspects of the operation of the HR function within the firm. You will be responsible for the running of various HR processes, providing first-line support and advice to managers and staff and supporting the Head of People on more complex issues and some exciting project work.
Ideally if you have experience of People HR, especially Ripple – this would be most beneficial as they have recently rolled out this software and you will be heavily involved in the continous development of this platform. The position is varied and will involve; maintaining a solid working knowledge of employment and related laws, particularly in relation to employment terms, discrimination, conduct, dismissals, data protection etc. You will develop and maintain a strong knowledge of HR policies, practice and procedures across the full employee life-cycle. The ideal person will have a good understanding of data management and reporting, including strong use of HR systems, good MS Excel skills and a good level of general IT proficiency.
