Frazer Jones are currently looking for a HR Advisor for an initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract. This has the potential to be extended. The role is working in the Insurance sector working for a well-known firm.

You will provide proactive, comprehensive, and professional HR services and play an integral role in the HR business partner and talent team to enable the achievement of business objectives. This is a hybrid-based position with 3 days in the office and 2 days home working paying between £45,000 – £50,000 depending upon experience.

Duties

  • To provide HR support across the Company’s Businesses/Functions and to the HR Business Partners
  • Work with the Recruitment Executive and Talent Assistant for specified roles, including updating the applicant tracking system, provision of feedback to candidates and agencies. Ensure the candidate experience is of the highest quality
  • Carry out interviews and selection procedures with hiring managers across the businesses
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers, providing a proactive and credible service and challenging where appropriate
  • Work with the recruitment executive to contribute towards enhancing our employer brand
  • Carry out exit interviews where required
  • To support the HR Business Partners with ER issues to include disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, flexible working and redundancy, taking the lead where appropriate
  • To provide guidance and advise employees and line managers on best practice HR and HR policies and procedures
  • To support and work with the senior team on Merger and Acquisitions and other ER issues as required (for example TUPE)
  • Carry out a wide range of project work including working with the Group HR Director on DEI priorities
  • Support with employee relations processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance cases, performance management and facilitating conflict resolution
  • Lead on the UK implementation of specific HR policies and improvement projects, including communication and change management

Requirements

  • Experience in a HR role with recruitment experience.
  • It would be beneficial to have worked in a similar role within the Insurance or wider Financial Services or Professional Service industries
  • Experience with LinkedIn recruiter would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in building relationships with the business and line managers in particular
  • High standard of administration skills
  • Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, Excel
