HR Business Partner – 12 month FTC
My client, a boutique Insurance business, is hiring an HR BP to cover a period of maternity starting in September.
This role covers an employee group of around 120 within a highly commercial and fast paced environment. In this role you will be working as part of a wider HR team acting as a solutions partner to your given business area providing a generalist HR service to the UK group across a number of disciplines ensuring the effective delivery of HR processes and agenda.
You will have previously worked as an HR BP or Manager and worked with senior stakeholders in a generalist capacity. In addition, this role requires someone to take responsibility for a number of key projects across HR as part of a wider transformation programme. Examples include reviewing employee handbook, redefining values programme, reviewing benefit providers, restructuring review processes etc. This experience will ideally have been gathered within a financially regulated environment.
The role also has one direct report so evidence of people management or even mentoring HR colleagues is important.
Key Skills
- Proven experience of managing a complex and technically focused client base and confident dealing with internal and external clients at a senior level with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and manage expectations appropriate to situation
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and tasks at any one time with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently
- Experience within a financially regulated environment
The business offers a hybrid working pattern with three days in the office and two from home.
