A Reading based Financial Services company is currently recruiting for an HR Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively and build relationships with a large client group, working strategically to implement people related strategies and initiatives. The role reports directly to the HR Director and with a dotted line to the Divisional Managing Director.
As the HR Business Partner for a client group of c.300 you will work closely with the Divisional MD and senior leadership teams to understand their business objectives, challenges, opportunities and risks, and to plan and implement HR initiatives and interventions to drive key areas such as performance management, employee engagement, increasing capability, retention and communications. This will include working with the COE to ensure optimum and efficient support but as with most HRBP positions you will, on occasion, be prepared to roll your sleeves up and be comfortable with execution.
You will also play a key part in coaching, developing and supporting line management to develop their people management capability, implementing key strategic HR initiatives and managing specific HR projects to deliver solutions.
The successful candidate will preferably have worked in an HR Business Partnering capacity within a Financial Services company. Commercially aware, you will have strong communication and influencing skills and be able to liaise effectively and build relationships at all levels.
