This leading international law firm based in the City is looking for a HR Business Partner to join its HR team. Forming part of a wider function of both generalists and specialists this is a varied HR role across both strategy and operations supporting two of the firms key practice areas.

Supporting a population of lawyers this role this role will see the successful candidate strong client relationships with key individuals in areas of responsibility, providing commercial HR advice and strategic counsel to leadership throughout the firm, including at Board level.

You will work collaboratively with partners and leaders to understand people requirements and identifying appropriate programmes and initiatives to drive a high performance culture, devising strategies and interventions to improve retention and reduce attrition within client groups.

Another key component will be leading the delivery of annual people processes including business planning, budgeting, performance reviews and salary/bonus review. Ensuring robust talent management and succession planning is in place and aligned with the firms strategy for growth and inclusion. Working with the Head of Talent Advisory and Talent Director on strategic firm wide projects to continually drive the people agenda and supporting broader Talent project delivery, including working on the firms D&I agenda, supporting management development and delivering excellent benefits platform.

The firm is looking to meet with candidates, with experience of operating at a commercial/strategic HR level in a professional services environment. You will be motivated to provide a first class client service - both responsive to and anticipating possible internal client needs. A good communicator who can deal with individuals at all levels within the firm both verbally and in writing with a solid background and experience in relevant employee relations management cases.
