HR Business Partner
Opportunity to join the close knit HR team of a leading insurance firm based in London.
Reporting into the Group HR Director this role will act as a Business Partner covering a period of maternity leave on initially 12 months.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Support dedicated business area on all HR matters, providing a full HR generalist service
- Support and lead on employee relations matters
- Give support on workforce and succession planning discussions
- Provide support with performance review process
- Consult on salary review process
- Coach managers and people leaders on development planning
- Work with the recruitment team and hiring managers on recruitment related activities
- Lead of various people related projects
Desired skills and experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a business partnering role
- Experience within a client facing HR role
- Experience acting as an advisor and partner to a specific business unit
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
- Experience leading on employee relations matters and a strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience working in a full generalist role across all areas of HR
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Proactive approach to work autonomously and as part of a team.
This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract based in London.
This role will have a mix of hybrid and office working.
