Opportunity to join the close knit HR team of a leading insurance firm based in London.

Reporting into the Group HR Director this role will act as a Business Partner covering a period of maternity leave on initially 12 months.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Support dedicated business area on all HR matters, providing a full HR generalist service
  • Support and lead on employee relations matters
  • Give support on workforce and succession planning discussions
  • Provide support with performance review process
  • Consult on salary review process
  • Coach managers and people leaders on development planning
  • Work with the recruitment team and hiring managers on recruitment related activities
  • Lead of various people related projects

Desired skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a business partnering role
  • Experience within a client facing HR role
  • Experience acting as an advisor and partner to a specific business unit
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • Experience leading on employee relations matters and a strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience working in a full generalist role across all areas of HR
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive approach to work autonomously and as part of a team.

This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract based in London.

This role will have a mix of hybrid and office working.
