We have partnered with a globally renowned business within the financial services to expand on their HR team in Brussels with a new HR Business Partner.

The HR Business Partner is a key member of both the HR team and the senior leadership team, responsible for working with the Director to set and drive the businesses projects and strategic agendas.

The primary responsibilities include;

You will be acting as the HR Business Partner on a range projects and support the commercial regional head to help achieve their Talent Strategy on a global basis. There will also be a need to provide Strategic and Commercial insight to the business.

Your expertise and support to the global business will assist the transformation of Human Resources activities such as organisational development and restructuring.

There will be ownership opportunities of the Talent Management aspect of the businesses, ensuring the integration of best practise including sourcing, occasional delivery of training, performance management, succession planning, career development, workforce planning and total reward.

Your coaching skills will be very useful as you will need to advise the senior leadership within the business to help ensure integration of the Corporation's values. You will also facilitate and manage personnel and culture change across the business, working closely with the relevant stakeholders.

There is a necessity to have in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will have the chance to develop relationships with partner providers in the region to ensure that cost effective solutions can be sourced locally where and made available both to corporation and market firms as required.

Experience and expertise;

Excellent communication, relationship and influencing skills across all levels.

An analytical mind with the ability to adapt to a variety of situations.

Demonstratable organisational, planning and project management skills

Experience working in a multisite or global environment.

Excellent working knowledge of employment law with the ability to apply it practically to workplace situations.

Fluency in English required and French or Flemish.

Relevant, proven experience, in a stand-alone role as a senior HR professional.

Experience of leading the full range of ER change management programmes including: organisational restructures, TUPE transfers, and redeployment and redundancy exercises.
