My client is a leading specialist contractor within Engineering and Demolition working on high profile projects across London. They are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner to join the team and work with an integral client base within the 2000 strong workforce.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Professional to support the HR Director drive the people agenda and develop the HR team. This role will see you partnering with the Specialist Construction Services which makes up 80% of the workforce with the support of 2 HR Advisors who you will line manage. You will lead this team and deliver the best in class, commercial HR Advise to your client group alongside partnering with the HR Director to shape the HR offering across the business. Due to the nature of the business health and safety comes first and you will act as a role model for best practise and live and breathe the business values and ethos. You will partner with business leaders covering areas such as Compliance, Employee Engagement, Organisational Design, change management, reward and restructures.

To be successful in this role you will have worked in a HR Business Partner capacity for a minimum of 2 years and have worked in a commercial environment similar in size in a business facing capacity. You will have excellent employee relations experience delivering to senior level and on complex cases. You will be an excellent role model, able to work with a diverse client group from multiple backgrounds. You will have the ability to work both operational and strategically taking things at a fast pace but with consideration to a changing and growing organisation. Ideally will have worked within a similar sector but this is not essential. You will be creative and happy to muck in with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Location is Surrey and London (City) and you are invited to work between the two offices, there are transport links to both. This role may have some UK travel but only limited.

Salary: £55k plus car allowance of £5k or company car to the same value.
