HR Business Partner (Retail)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious HR Business Partner who wants to work at the forefront of a dynamic and market leading Retailer that puts people at the centre of their business.

Reporting to the General Manager and the Head of HR Business Partnering, this is an instore HR Business Partner position that takes the lead for HR across the site (supporting 500+ employees) and is responsible for partnering with a large leadership team. While partnering with the GM to meet business objectives, the key focus will include: managing succession planning and overseeing instore recruitment procedures, implementing a learning culture, coaching store management teams, advising on HR processes and driving performance improvements.

You will be responsible for all reactive and proactive initiatives. This will involve you being operational but you are supported onsite by an HR team that is responsible for a lot of the ER work. As HR Lead on site you will be the link between the General Manager and HR, ensuring the HR agenda is implemented, factors in to business decisions and is at the forefront of Managers minds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, confident and ambitious HR professional who is looking to take a lead HR role on site. You must have experience gained within a Retail environment, either single or multi-site at HR Business Partner or HR Manager level.

You will need excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels and work effectively across an organisation. You will need to be confident on your decision making and comfortable having difficult conversations. You will also have a relentless drive to improve performance and deliver outstanding results through new, innovative and more effective ways of working.
