HR Director, Commercial
We’re working with a client in the life sciences sector based in Fairfield County, Connecticut as they seek to hire an HR Director to support their commercial sales organization. This role will report to a Senior Director of HR who is leading HR for the commercial sales organization globally. This role will support about 700 employees across The Americas region.
Our client is seeking candidates with 10+ years of experience in an HR business partnering capacity. Prior experience in life sciences or consumer products is strongly preferred. Experience supporting a commercial sales or more broadly, a go-to-market organization, is required. This role will work onsite ~3 days per week. The focus of the role will be on elevating the HR service delivery model to the business to function as more of a strategic business partner with a heavy focus on talent and performance management, proactive employee relations, management coaching, change management, talent acquisition (leveraging the talent acquisition center of excellence), and M&A integration. The business recently realigned the HR team to functional leaders globally and this role will serve as the regional HR business partner for the largest population in the commercial organization. Prior experience operating in a global environment is strongly preferred, although one could have experience in a regional role in a globally matrixed HR organization.
