Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an HR Learning & Development Manager to join their growing team. This role will be supporting 400 plus employees in their NJ location. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a stand alone capacity supporting Training and Development. We are seeking someone that has handled needs assessment soft skills and 360 training. This individual will be responsible for creating and delivering learning programs and working with outside vendors. The ideal candidate will participate in various firm-wide projects including diversity initiatives, career path programs and succession planning initiatives. In this role, you will evaluate training effectiveness and manage associated costs. Additionally, you will create and distribute post course feedback surveys.
The ideal candidate will have ten plus years of HR experience and five years supporting the Learning & Development function. We are seeking a strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must have strong PC and software application skills, as well as, strong organizational and planning skills. Successful candidates will be self-motivated and directed and will possess the ability to motivate others.
