My client, an International Law firm is in the market for an experienced, detail oriented and driven HR Manager to provide a high quality HR business partner service to a global fee earning division, based in our London office. This is a 12 month fixed term contract position covering a period of maternity.
In this role you will actively support the Divisional CEO, the leadership team and the partners in the management of the division globally, through the provision of commercial HR support and advice. You'll develop and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders to become a trusted advisor. You will need to provide proactive advice and guidance to divisional management on all employee relations issues, including performance management, flexible working requests, absence management, disciplinaries and grievances as well as overseeing the resourcing plans for the division, and work with the recruitment team to provide cost efficient and effective recruitment solutions.
This role operates as more of a relationship driven business partner rather than an operational HR manager but you'll still need to flex and work operationally from time to time. The cyclical HR responsibilities also play an important part of this contract including; business planning, policy management, performance management, annual salary and bonus review (with the Reward team), plus other ad hoc projects and initiatives.
In order to be considered for this position you'll need relevant HR experience in an HR manager / business partner role, ideally from a professional services background.
In addition you will be degree qualified with the CIPD certification.
